HIM, Every now and then a band comes a long that you can get into and enjoy. You buy their cds and jam out in your car or in your house and yea, you really get into them. But how often is it that a band moves a person to change their way of life and way of thinking? This is what happened to me when I began experiencing HIM., Before you judge and say, "how can a band do that?" Or "why would you let a band have that much countenance in your life?" hear me out... I don't live for this band in that they are all that I'm about, I have a family and dreams... See, I agree with their life logics and since I found them, I have once again been able to focus and truly dream again. Everything they stand for, the balance of Life, Love and Death- the meaning of the Heartagram itself, created by Ville Valo. Love Metal has a depth and perception that has scaled the wall I built and saw tears I let no one else see. HIM has held my hand and cradled my head during my darkest hours. Breathing life into me when I felt nothing. This band has carried me and helped me find my place in my spirituality. They've been there when I've been childish and when I've been graven. They are not just music, they are soul., This is my testament to them. Would you rather listen to an orgasm or experience one? You can't just listen to HIM. The Bible that belonged to my dad that was given to me when he died is the most precious book I've ever been given., and The Encyclopedia of 5000 Spells by Judika Illes, It's a wonderful book filled to the brim and was sent to me by my angel sis Lesa! <3, and My WW Vampire the Masquerade hardback game book and Toreador Clan of the Rose and Book of Nod books are among my most prized possessions., Then I have the first five books in the Harry Potter series that my sweetie lil sis Sabrina sent to me which I love., And My Fellowship of The Ring Set by J.R.R. Tolkien sent to me as well by Sabrina <3, I have a giant book on the first 200 years of American History that my grandfather gave me back in 1976 because he's a history buff that I cherrish. It has bits and pieces of things he's stuck in it about our family's history like where they came from before they came to America so that's really sentimental and important as well., I've got several books on Paganism and earthbound religions that I'm collecting and reading at various times trying to find the right path for me, I don't want to just jump into something because it's 'popular'.
